Taking a stroll with zombies

Halloween is my favourite time of the year.  I'm pretty sure I like it even more than my birthday and I LOVE my birthday.  And like with just about anything I enjoy, I like to invite people along to share in the experience.  This year I had the pleasure of introducing one of my friends who has recently moved to Canada to the wondrous world that is Halloweek and it all started with the zombie walk on Saturday.

Sometimes I forget that not everyone is as enamored with the ghoulish as I am.  And for someone who's never seen a zombie before it can be a little overwhelming.  Multiply that by being surrounding by moaning zombies that seem to be lurking around every corner and it can be down right scary. But as time went on, everyone got a little more relaxed, which made for great performances during the award ceremony and a great live musical performance.

Here are some of my favourite looks:
Poor Beeker.  I thought the idea and execution behind this one was awesome!

There's a 12 year-old girl behind this skeleton.  Kudos to her proud papa showing her off.

Silent film zombies... yup!

Getting the kids involved.  It was a whole zombie family
