The Artlive Ball

I don't even have words to describe how excited I was to attend this year's #Artlive Ball.  I've always been energized by the freedom and enthusiasm expressed through vogueing and so when I realized that I had missed last year's Ball I promised myself that I would not make that same error twice.  I was off to the catwalk.

The Artlive Ball celebrates the beginning of World Stage 2015 at the Harbourfront Centre.  This year the event boasts nine international productions. World Stage embraces many different types of performance art and helps to cultivate loval talent.

We arrived at the Ball and were treated to complimentary glasses of cava.  Delicious bubbles for a bubble-themed event.  It didn't take us long to realize that they were also offering airbrushed make-up until 10PM.  The four of us each got a turn to have a seat in the chair and be turned into beautiful works of art.

Then we walked into the main space to a VERY enthusiastic crowd.  Music, laughter and applause filled the air.  As the evening progressed, each pass on the catwalk was more determined to impress than the last.  I can't even put into words how wonderful it was to watch people be so free on stage.  It was beautiful and the ladies and I were all sporting our a perma-grins.

Because I know my words can't possibly do this party justice, here are some photos so that you can enjoy the fabulousity too.
